A modern retelling of the norse mythology. Fr. Mike (Wes Studi) has hidden a piece of Thor’s hammer from Lok-eye, a viking warlock. Lok-eye kidnaps three children every spring and forces their mothers to find his prize. The only one immune to the Warlock’s powers is Eric Thornton, called The Ugly One since he was a child. Eric only wants to win The Steel Gloves, an all out fight contest with a prize trip away from the madness. Fr.Mike must convince Eric to defeat the Warlock and save the very people who have treated him so cruelly his whole life.
